Epazote (chenopodium ambrosioides) is an herb that contains a chemical known as ascaridole, which mimics the artemisinin that’s found in Chinese wormwood. Therefore, this herb is a natural treatment for the expelling of parasites.
Dosage information: 3 cups of tea per day (steep ½ teaspoon of dried herb in 1 cup of hot water for 10 to 15 minutes).
Caution: When taken internally, the essential oil of this plant is extremely toxic and has caused fatalities. Some people are highly allergic to this plant.
